    Faith is intertwined with the culture of Mississippi. Despite contradictions posed by opponents of abortion access, people of faith have abortions and support abortion access. As a member organization of MAAC, Faith in Women provides space and support for clergy, faith leaders, and people of faith in the reproductive health, rights, and justice movement.

  • Immigrant Alliance for Justice & Equity

    At least 70,000 Mississippians are immigrants, and even more are children, family, and friends of first-generation immigrants. However, societal structures have made it difficult for many immigrant communities to access essential services, including reproductive healthcare. As a member organization of MAAC, Immigrant Alliance for Justice and Equity centers justice and equity in its conversations about abortion and reproductive healthcare.

Planned Parenthood Southeast Advocates is the political and advocacy arm of Planned Parenthood Southeast, a reproductive healthcare and education provider serving Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. Through their work as Planned Parenthood Southeast, the Mississippi team is talking with Mississippi voters about abortion using shared values and stories.

    Historically, the reproductive health, rights, and justice movement space has ignored the voices and expertise of Black women and other people of color. SHERo (Sisters Helping Every woman Rise and Organize) is a reproductive justice organization dedicated to ensuring that Mississippians have access to abortion care by culitivating Black women Women of Color, and members of the LGBTQAI+ community to become “abortion freedom fighters.”
